Kids take on 26/11

A film on 26/11 attacks

An ardent fan of Shah Rukh Khan, Diksha Negi is just 13 years old. She has scripted and co-directed the highly appreciated film MH 26/11-Mumbai Under Attack, thus becoming the youngest film-maker in the country to do so.

Diksha was one of the 20 school children, who under the guidance of Grace Pinto, MD, Ryan International School, underwent a rigorous training session on the various facets of film-making. Diksha, along with the other kids scripted the story of how the Mumbai terror attacks affect the relationship between two friends. The story has an underlying message of oneness and love, irrespective of caste, creed and religion.

The kids even auditioned actors for the different characters, wrote the dialogues, edited the rushes and did the complete post-production work of MH 26/11. Hema Malini was the guest of honour for the premiere of the film. The event was also attended by Esha Khoppikar, Rituparna Sengupta, Johnny Lever and many others from different walks of life. They were all praises for the efforts of the talented kids. They were also surprised that the children have done such a professional job. Infact they even volunteered to act in their next directorial venture.
